I’m first generation American and I love it.

I wouldn’t trade my Jamaican upbringing for all the money in the world. Like being Jamaican means the world to me. Its so deeply imbedded in the woman I am that to ignore it would be the biggest disrespect. I love our food, how we call everyone Auntie and Uncle or how loud and boisterous ALL Jamaican parents happen to be. I’m in love with my culture and I can’t wait to visit again.
